I didn't get to spend as much time on the water as I would like this season.. even more so when it came to lunch breaks. But I made the most of each and every 45 minutes i did get... Here is a photo journal recap from this seasons "Lunch Break Fishing"

I often get asked why I own _______ number of fishing rods (actual number redacted to protect my marriage), and why I won't hit the water with any less then 6 rods in the boat. The answer is easy, like in any sport or profession the tools I need to do the job on any given day (an through out that day) changes, thus for the same reason golfers don't play the whole course using just a putter anglers don't fish every lure or technique with the same rod (reel, line, and so on)
This is why I choose Dobyns rods. They practise the rule of "No Angler left behind" by providing us with 5 series of rod each offering a wide assortment or lengths, speeds and power ratings. Over these series I have been able to pinpoint exactly what I need for each of the techniques I use ensuing improved comfort and even more importantly improving my ability to land fish.
And that's that!, the 2016 Kingston Canadian open is officially closed.. congrats to this years come from behind winner Steve Voros (67.05lbs) who edged out the family Climpson to take home $12K as well as the hardware.
Paul Climpson slid into second place with 66.1lbs while son Cal Climpson dropped to 4th with 64.45lbs. Joe Fonzi make the move into 3rd place with a Day 3 bag over 25lbs that included a 6.75lb monster.
I really enjoyed the Bass Master style weighing, though the crowd seemed much smaller and it was much harder to get a good pic. There are some bugs to work-out but hey, it was worth a shot.
